Faith that God allows certain of His servants to receive visions, locutions, etc., and that they can be passed along to the faithful. According to the Catechism of the Catholic Church, there is no new revelation since the Canon of scripture was decided. These private revelations are special graces given to the recipient and so long as they do not go against the Faith, the local bishop can deem them acceptable for the faithful to read and to accept or reject as they choose.I believe that they are actual factual events and am grateful to God for giving such graces to His faithful. I especially enjoyed learning, through Mary of Agreda, about the life of Mary that is not recorded in the Gospels or other New Testament books. Another favorite of mine is The Dolorous Passion Of Jesus Christ" by Anne Catherine Emmerich. We used it in conjunction with a Lenten study on the Passion of Christ this past spring and it greatly enhanced our understanding of all the suffering endured by Jesus and his mother Mary. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The most informative and beautiful book I have ever read! *by on Reviewed in the United States July 15, 2021* This book should be read by the World! The Mystical City of God is both awesome and inspiring. You will cry and feel every emotion a human being can feel. It answers every question you may have of the Holy Family individually and and as a Family.Take your time in reading this beautiful book. Meditate on Our Lady's words. May God Bless You and may your Love of Our Blessed Mother and Her Son guide you to Heaven. ## Frequently Bought Together - The Mystical City of God: A Popular Abridgement of the Divine History and Life of the Virgin Mother of God - Mystical City of God: Volume I-IV - The Life of the Blessed Virgin Mary: From the Visions of Ven.
