The color assortment is very good, although I think there is a bit too much for the pink tones. There are plenty in blues, greens, and purple/violet. Neutrals are a good assortment and the metallic colors are great.The paint waters down nicely to make washes and glazes. Colors don't repeat, but it came with 2 white and 2 black so essentially 78 colors with an extra black and white. All the bottles come with freshness cap inserts. One of my caps broke, but I just switched it with one of the white ones, and the insert should keep it dry. I bought it to replace my paint for a paint by numbers kit. The colors range in transparent to opaque, adding white, grey or some others, reduces the transparency.
