I tend to freeze the leaves after removing them from the stems in a zip lock bag to maintain freshness. Sometimes you get a thickish branch amongst the slimmer twigs with leaves on, but you can use these for flavour too, just remove from food before eating. About 1/3 of what the picture shows. I used some and froze the rest, but later disposed of them as they weren't pleasant in the dish I cooked. I don't think they enhanced the dish and I had to pick them out like bay leaves due to their toughness. Disappointing. **Q: Last month I purchased them for £3.29. But now they're being sold for £6.98. Are they selling a greater quantity or just more than doubled the cost?** A: I don’t know why the price has gone up - perhaps they were on special offer earlier?
