I make each of my cat jackets by hand, from quality materials. I am a proud owner of a Bengals; Otis and Barney my gorgeous Maine Coon. I soon realised that the many harnesses on the market were not secure and not feline escape proof. Cats were easily escaping from them by simply 'reversing' out of them. While developing my design, I did a lot of research. My design incorporates opinions and feedback from cat breeders and other owners. Also, our neighbours have a terrier who is usually no trouble, but her jacket and lead allowed me scoop Holly out of harms' way when he got loose one day. The jacket is very well made and I use it with a very narrow fabric dog lead. I introduced Holly to her jacket when she was young maybe approx. 3 months or less (she's a stray kitten found alone so unsure of age!) and I found that she took to the concept surprisingly well. I don't know how long it would take an adult to adjust or if they'd be okay with it. There's always a little bit of wriggling from Holly when putting on/adjusting and taking off the jacket,but she's very comfortable with it when it's on. The main thing I've found is just buckets of patience when you are walking your cat, watch what they want to eat/climb, and hopefully you'll have a great time together. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars If you have a small cat go for the kitten size *by J***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 30 August 2019* After trying a few different harnesses for my small cat.. this one is the only one that properly fits her and doesn’t make me anxious that she’s going to break free.
