The strap would not give you any carrying advantage and would actually make it quite difficult, but it would serve as a way to link together several plates. **Q: What's the smallest measurements round the wrist** A: I can't tell you exactly, but these are in my opinion suited to people with bigger wrists. My wrists are probably about 8 inches in circumference, and I do find myself wishing these were tighter to my wrists. The durability is very good and there are no signs of freying. However there are a couple of downsides. The straps are just a bit too short for my liking as I like to have a bit left hanging over but there isn't any.
