The second one was great for a couple months, then suddenly won’t turn on. If you get lucky and get it to turn on, then it won’t turn off. It seems that there is a loose connection which causes it to work inconsistently. I never dropped the first or second one, so for both to last only one or two months is a total fail.***I’ve been looking for a strong blue light which I can use while walking at night. The police cars in my state have blue lights so people always slow down at the sight of one. I’ve found that other lights marketed for walking or running aren’t bright enough to attract attention. Although this flashlight is small (which is GREAT), it packs a powerful punch for its size. I wouldn’t say it’s that great to illuminate an area, but the blue light is definitely strong enough to be seen at a distance by cars. I have to go out with them because I live in a rural area and we have predators in the woods at night. One of my dogs is a small shih-tzu and is an easy target. I am amazed how bright the beam is and how it illuminates my yard, but even better, it makes eyes glow in the dark, so I can see if any coyotes are in the woods even though I can't see them in the dark. I shot a deer the other day and there was blood all over the ground so I decided to take my light out to see how good the blood shows up. Well guess what? It doesn’t show up hardly at all it just looks dark.
