Review: Great devices - I’ve fitted lots of these, they’re very reliable with a reasonable speed, and how they can link over 10 miles is almost in witchcraft territory. A little knowledge on networking would be handy. I would advise anyone who wants to get their house wifi into an outhouse or similar is to either take your time and watch a few Youtube videos or get a pro in if you’ve not done anything like it before!
Review: It's not.Unifi. - Great piece of kit, but be aware it's not 'Unifi' so doesn't really play nice with the rest of the consumer Unifi kit.

**Q: Afternoon all, can this item be used to bridge cctv is i have two of these?**
A: Yes, these two should configured as PtP bridge and they will transfer your LAN via Wireless.

**Q: Hi, what is the range of this? If i set it up in my attic of a bungalow should i cover the house and outside?**
A: This device is a point to point device, so extending a network to another point by using two of these (you then "break-out" the other side with a wi-fi router).  As point to point line of sight it is something like 17km.  Its not usually used on its own to extend a wi-fi network, there are other range extenders to do this.

**Q: Is this unit all weather?**
A: I can’t find ‘IP rating’ on any of the documentation but we use them in all weathers in UK and in Africa without problems, you see them dotted around towns permanently fitted to CCTV etc. They work just fine outside and at £80 a time you can always just replace...

**Q: Do they run off 48v POE?**
A: No, 24v.
