Review: A pretty nice frame, for a great price - I bought this to frame a piece of art, as an alternative to spending hundreds of dollars for a custom frame. It's surprisingly nice for an under $30 frame! Some reviewers have said it's plastic, but it's marked with a label as consisting of wood composite. It's substantial, has a nice weight, and looks pretty nice hanging beside art framed in $300+ frames. The mat is nicely cut (although not likely to be archival quality). The frame arrived well-packed in a foam sleeve with no damage to the frame or glass (real glass!). There are flip-out metal hinges on the back for hanging on both the sides and top. One could easily wind picture-hanging wire fastened to the hinges if you prefer hanging with wire. The sides of the frame are stapled together, but they look solid and stable. It was the wide variety of sizes in which these frames are available that initially sold me on the purchase. Glad I bought this.
