We just re-screened our back porch and didn't want our 60lb pit knocking panels out. It took me ~15 min to install.step 1- apply inside half to screen using a box cutter to help the pegs through.step 2- cut little squares out over the receiving holes so everything lines up nicely.step 3- apply the other half on the outside and start pressing the two together steadily from the top down- this way all of the pegs engage.step 4- make your cuts for the door- (side, bottom, side)step 5- go around the edges with a pair of channel locks to make sure everything is completely seated.No extra bolts or glue neededOur dog figured it out in no time and the door is holding up really well. If you don't have a solid door for a typical dog door this is a pretty sweet alternative. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Spend more and get a better door *by D***E on Reviewed in the United States on 3 May 2016* I was looking to purchase something for my 40 lb beagle mix girl to use and give her access to the yard. After reading mixed reviews I decided to give it a try. This door is mediocre. After struggling to install it the first time (even with taking the door off and laying it flat) I went back and read some of the other reviews. Someone else posted a review with helpful tips about how to install it and that was very helpful. It really seems like at first the door refuses to snap together through the screen. It would not go through the holes. I took a small screwdriver and started enlarging the holes in the screen. That helped a bit. I layed the door flat and proceeded to try to snap the two pieces together and pound them together with a hammer. This seemed to work as I was able to get the pieces to finally snap together. I'm not sure how long this is going to last though. It seems like with regular usage the pieces are going to start to separate over time, but we'll have to see. Also, the tension on the swinging part of the door is pretty tight. My dog was reluctant to go through it at first as she had to push kind of hard to go through. I guess she'll get used to it.My advice would be to spend more and get a better quality door that installs more easily.
