I have Xfinity Blast which gives me 250Meg Download, and with this WiFi adapter on the 5GHz it had a speed of 163Mbps download....good enough for meI like the dual band, and I installed this on my desktop computer if I ever lose my cable provided internet I can turn my smartphone into a hot-spot and still get on-line (I'm on T-Mobile and their "free" hot-spot gives you 512kbps down and up or symmetrical which limits your usage, but I'm fine with it for free and this WiFi adapter is used as a backup just for that...no gaming on 512kbps :) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Raised my rating to 4-Star *by S***E on Reviewed in the United States on December 15, 2018* When I plugged it in Windows had the drivers so I thought 'all was good'. Not good (read below) but later I installed it using the installation disk. Now it works. I would give it 5-Stars but the included software interface just gets in the wayI bought it for the 5G. It connects to my ARRIS cable modem 2.4G and works fine. Problem is I bought it for 5G and it does connect but "No Internet Access".
