I use a long time favorite recipe and adding a spoonful has never thrown off the cooking chemistry. You can make muffins, cakes, cookies, ice cream, etc... or just sprinkle a little on top. The Matcha you get at most coffee shops is a Matcha Syrup, if you want that same flavor you will need to add lots of sugar to your drinks. WHY THE PRICE IS WAT IT IS: Regular tea preparation: Pick the leaves, dry the leaves, crunch the leaves, put them in a tea bag. I got it because of the cat on the bag. It is very green and very good. I do 2 bamboo scoops in 3/4 cup hot water, mix it, and add 1/4 soy milk for a matcha late. I have a ton of other brands that I can't even drink anymore after this. I'll use the other's in the blender. Maybe there are other good brands too, but why waste more money, this is a good one.
