Product Description SainSmart TPU Filament PRINTING TIPS When using TPU filament, a direct drive extruder is recommended as it can produce higher quality parts and avoid jamming. A Bowden extruder can also produce good print quality, but requires proper setup and calibration. Please remember to clean the extruder nozzle before loading the filament to avoid jamming. If you have problems printing, please try to slow down the printing speed and adjust the temperature. If both attempts fail, please contact our support. Print Settings Recommended extruder temperature:195-230°C. Recommended platform temperature:40-60°C Nozzle diameter:0.4-0.8mm Printing speed:15-30mm/s 95A hardness With a hardness(by Shore) of 95A, SainSmart TPU filament maintains a good balance between stiffness and pliability, making it one of the easiest flexible filaments to process. Review: Great colour amazing quiality - I found this Tpu filament great. the colour is really nice I think finished prints look really nice. The print quality is really good as long as you take your time to dial in your settings mainly retraction and you will need good cooling fans for overhangs or bridges, the only part I have struggled with is overhangs and bridging not printing well and its a bit annoying. and I have had filament slowly curl up as it prints which is my fault not the filaments fault. I think the filament is great and I would only buy this brands TPU as I think it is the best

Probably best printed with an extruder mounted to the head, but I printed using a bowden system. Retract doesn't work because of the flexible nature of the filament. Make sure the distance between your extruder gear and nozzle is as small as possible otherwise it will buckle up. Top layers printed on a 10% fill struggled to bridge the gap and took several passes before covering. Perhaps a higher percentage, e.g. > 50% fill should be used?

I found this Tpu filament great. the colour is really nice I think finished prints look really nice. The print quality is really good as long as you take your time to dial in your settings mainly retraction and you will need good cooling fans for overhangs or bridges, the only part I have struggled with is overhangs and bridging not printing well and its a bit annoying. and I have had filament slowly curl up as it prints which is my fault not the filaments fault. Printed at 210 on a cold bed with a 0.5mm nozzle. Absolutely perfect results first time - it's a lovely material mechanically and visually - not really squishy but flexible enough for rubber washers and gaskets - I've printed isolating bushes for my CoreXY motors and it is perfect. I print with all manner or materials, and this is now my go-to flexible filament.
