With a 100m water resistance will happily cope with shallow level (<20m) scuba diving too. Looking for a watch that does both without paying hundreds** A: Unfortunately no it doesn't. You can push the lap button manually but it’s not the same. After the timex I bought the suunto spartan trainer wrist hr which I love. It was £169 at the time.its a GPS triathlon watch and counts pool laps and strokes. Sadly that watch has been discontinued. It’s replacement is the suunto 5 currently £244. All in all bargin. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good watch obtained at a great sale price *by H***L on 11 January 2013* The watch is as described, an apparently very accurate timepiece with an LCD display and various stopwatch functions; the latter I never use anyway! It is comfortable to wear and the time display is very easy to read. I would have thought it relatively expensive at it's full RRP, but I didn't pay anything near that! At that price (£13 approx) I would have given it five stars save for a minor annoyance. The strap has a small hook that engages with the strap holes to ensure a comfortable non slip fit. Unfortunately it also makes the watch difficult to take off and I wonder whether the flexing required to release the little hook will have an adverse effect on the life of the strap.
