I found this a bit difficult to control at first, but am getting used to it. I have used a Parker Sonnet rollerball for years and this is the next level up from that. Also the Parker refill tends to bleed through thinner papers, I haven't found that to be the case with the Cross refills so far.

A lovely pen which oozes quality. Although it is quite a large pen the balance is just right with the cap on, but I'm a bit perverse and write with the cap off. Either way it is a pleasure to use. The materials used and the way it is built are excellent. The rollerball refill is extremely smooth and offers no resistance when moving over the paper. I found this a bit difficult to control at first, but am getting used to it. I have used a Parker Sonnet rollerball for years and this is the next level up from that. Also the Parker refill tends to bleed through thinner papers, I haven't found that to be the case with the Cross refills so far.
