Review: Works great and an exceptional value - Tiny, light and super portable. But it welds just great on thin things. I use it for welds on stainless steel tables that are 14-18 gauge instead of using my big welder. The lower power is perfect and I don't have to keep changing out wire spools back and forth. Review: Super portable, easy to use. - I had a Lincoln 140 welder before and lost it in a fire. This one seems to weld just as good if not better than it. The big difference is that this one is light as a feather. It’s a switching type power supply instead of a large transformer type which is what makes it so light. I used it this weekend to repair a grader blade for my tractor. The wire speed and amperage control seemed easier to set than my old one. I burned through the steel in one place, but I was able to turn the amperage down and the wire speed up to build it back up and repair the hole pretty easily. I’m not sure if there’s any application where I would need to carry this thing as I was welding but you really could it is so light. Very happy with it and the price was a lot cheaper than the transformer type welders. ## Features - WELD ANYWHERE: Plug in the Weld-Pak 90i FC wire feed welder anywhere 120V input power is available; It’s a versatile, user-friendly welding machine that welds up to 1/4"and can be used anywhere, from home workshops to construction sites - ACCESSORIES INCLUDED: The machine comes with a full list of accessories including a welding gun, nozzle, contact tip, work cable and clamp; Metal case provides protection from the elements - LIGHT & PORTABLE: Ideal for maintenance and mobile welders, thanks to its small and lightweight (15 lbs) inverter design and shoulder strap for portability; A good choice for beginners or anyone looking for an easy-to-use welder - SMOOTH & EASY OPERATION: Has simple control with two knobs for wire speed and voltage; Inverter power source makes it more efficient to operate and provides smoother weld characteristics compared to traditional welders - PERFECT FOR SMALL WELD JOBS: This machine is best for DIY projects, hobbyists, home repairs and more; Infinite welding voltage allows fine-tuning of weld characteristics ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0BTV38YKM | | Additional Features | Portable | | Best Sellers Rank | #11,206 in Automotive ( See Top 100 in Automotive ) #28 in Welding Systems | | Brand | Lincoln Electric | | Brand Name | Lincoln Electric | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 579 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00015082986210 | | Handle Material | Rubber | | Head Style | Screwdriver | | Heating Element | Mica | | Included Components | Welder & Accessories | | Input Voltage | 120 volts | | Item Length | 13 inches | | Item Type Name | Welder | | Item Weight | 15 pounds | | Manufacturer | Lincoln Electric | | Manufacturer Part Number | K5255-1 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | 12 months | | Model Number | K5255-1 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Power Source | Corded Electric | | Special Feature | Portable | | Specific Uses For Product | Residential Use | | Style Name | Flux-Cored Welder | | UPC | 015082986210 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Lincoln Electric - **Included Components:** Welder & Accessories - **Power Source:** Corded Electric - **Special Feature:** Portable - **Specific Uses For Product:** Residential Use ## Images ![Lincoln Electric 90i FC Flux Core Wire Feed Weld-PAK Welder, 120V Welding Machine, Portable w/Shoulder Strap, Protective Metal Case, Best for Small Jobs, K5255-1 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/712sF3mzAtL.jpg) ![Lincoln Electric 90i FC Flux Core Wire Feed Weld-PAK Welder, 120V Welding Machine, Portable w/Shoulder Strap, Protective Metal Case, Best for Small Jobs, K5255-1 - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71hXZp3ZV-L.jpg) ![Lincoln Electric 90i FC Flux Core Wire Feed Weld-PAK Welder, 120V Welding Machine, Portable w/Shoulder Strap, Protective Metal Case, Best for Small Jobs, K5255-1 - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71xFTiYo4AL.jpg) ![Lincoln Electric 90i FC Flux Core Wire Feed Weld-PAK Welder, 120V Welding Machine, Portable w/Shoulder Strap, Protective Metal Case, Best for Small Jobs, K5255-1 - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71xFWBR5WTL.jpg) ![Lincoln Electric 90i FC Flux Core Wire Feed Weld-PAK Welder, 120V Welding Machine, Portable w/Shoulder Strap, Protective Metal Case, Best for Small Jobs, K5255-1 - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71MmMlvNU-L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Style** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great and an exceptional value *by B***Y on January 31, 2026* Tiny, light and super portable. The torch is incredibly easy to handle, making precision welding on sheet metal a breeze. I love how portable the machine is, allowing me to move around the car effortlessly. Being able to run it on 110 power sources is a huge plus as I can reach outlets conveniently. Once I dialed in the settings, maintaining them has been a smooth process. This welder has been trouble-free so far, making it perfect for light welding tasks.
