Bulova 96G175 Mens Precisionist Silver Steel Bracelet Chronograph Watch

I have become a bit of a lower end watch collector. I just mean I'm not exactly buying Rolex watches but I do have a $1500 automatic Hamilton...etc etc like that and other NICE watches so far. For some reason I've always wanted a Bulova watch, but I always ended up buying another brand for some reason.. Well to be honest...almost all Bulova watches use mineral crystal, and that just turns me off. Enter THIS 96"G"175! It has a sapphire crystal so that took away my usual, I'll pass on Bulova again. I had my eye on this watch a long while//but I was looking at the 96B175..which seems to be identical except the B again uses mineral crystal..NOT this one. Long story short...I LOVE that smooth sweeping second hand. It makes the watch come alive and just exudes quality. The watch itself is yes, rather big. In my case I like a bigger watch and once I got the bracelet resized (Which by the way is a BEAUTIFUL watch band in my opinion) This watch feels extremely well balanced and super comfortable. I don't really have large wrists yet I feel this watch looks just great on my not so huge wrists. They say the watch may lose just a few seconds in a YEAR and I have to say in the month or so I've owned it it hasn't lost a second I can see vs my Seiko and Citizen atomic clock watches. For some reason this Bulova has become THE watch I reach for first and wear the most out of all my watches. Yes you gotta be a bit more careful in trying not to bump into things as the watch is large...but I am just very careful while wearing mine at least so far. :) Having the sapphire crystal should help if/when I'm sure I'll bump the watch against something sooner or later. If I had a negative it may be there is actually some very pretty blue on the dial as well...in the outer circle. But unless you are under bright light or tilt the watch a certain way, you may think the dial is 100% black which it's not. Wish they made the blue stand out a bit more..still and all to my eyes this watch is just great looking. OH I read this in another review too..it's true now and then you may need look at the watch twice to catch the actual time haha. It's very clear actually, but the dial IS busy so with the shiny hour and minute hands and a super quick glance at the watch, sometimes you may need look a little closer to see the actual time cause of the business.but it's really just fine!! That said I just love this watch. 5 stars for me..and a great value I feel vs it's quality!

This was the biggest score as a gift. LOVE LOVE LOVE this watch, and the Man of my life fell in love as well. He gets compliments from other men almost everytime he wears it. 5 stars for sure!

Beautiful face and second hand movement for a quartz time piece. Very large and bit on the heavy size but overall very well craft and looks amazing.

It's a big watch but looks great . The Precisionist movement is really smooth it's something I've seen on higher end watches with huge price tags so this is a welcome treat. In my research and speaking to Bulova the 96B175 and 96G175 are identical but the only difference is that the G has Sapphire glass and the B has Mineral crystal. Go for the Sapphire it'll look better in the long run.

Bulova has created a precision machine! The watch is a little heavy but if u adjust the links to fit your wrist it wears and feels very well!

Nice time piece. Very comfortable band yet the clasp seems a little chincy for the rest of the watch. The hands are a little harder to pick up do to the curved crystal that is not anti-glare.

I dont get why people are buying at 535$ the 96"B"175 with mineral crystal when this 96"G"175 is less expensive, Is a newer model, and has saphire crystal lens??. Anyway order it, and 19hrs later was delivered at my door. The watch looks amazing, well built, precise..has a good weight to it and most of all...looks great on my wrist.

I already have the non- chrono version of this watch which i find exceptional so this was a must have. The quality is excellent, a great weight and is definitely an eyecatcher. The movement is super smooth just like an automatic and the accuracy is second to none. Just buy it you will not be disappointed.

Nach einiger Zeit sollte es für mich mal wieder der Zeitpunkt für den Kauf einer neuen Armbanduhr sein. Wie bisher hatte ich natürlich einige Anforderungen an meine neue Uhr: Es sollte wieder eine metallisch-gestaltete Quarzuhr werden, die als bessere Uhr für bestimmte Anlässe getragen werden kann (also hier kein alltäglicher Gebrauch). Darüber hinaus sollte die Uhr einen technischen Mehrwert bieten, Gestaltung und Gewicht der Uhr spielte für mich nur eine untergeordnete Rolle. Preislich sollte es im Bereich um 500€ liegen.Nach einiger Webrecherche bin ich auf dieses Modell von Bulova gestoßen und war ehrlich gesagt vom Aussehen sofort begeistert. Es erfüllte alle meine gewünschten Bedingungen. Sowohl die Formgebung, als auch die Funktionalität überzeugten mich zumindest auf dem Papier. Also habe ich mich entschlossen, die besagte Uhr zu kaufen. Gesagt, getan: Nach einigen Tagen kam die Uhr bei mir an. Produktgemäß wird die Uhr in einem Uhrenetui geliefert. Also habe ich die Uhr entnommen, die Schutzbeklebungen abgezogen und erst mal gründlich unter die Lupe genommen. Äußerlich ist die Uhr sauber verarbeitet, es gab keine äußerlichen Mängel. Die Uhr besitzt eine Faltschließe, die mit einem oberen Bügel als Sicherung versehen ist. Die Länge des Armbands war für mich ab Werk etwas zu weit, aber in insgesamt passend. Das Gewicht der Uhr ist nicht zu vernachlässigen, mich stört diese durchaus klobige Uhr aber nicht. Alle potentiellen Käufer, die bezüglich des Gewichts vorsichtig sind, können sich eventuell für die Karbon-Variante der Precisionist interessieren, die allerdings preislich etwas teurer ist. Darüber hinaus möchte ich noch auf das kratzfeste Glas hinweisen. Bei allen bisherigen Uhren hatte ich früher oder später kleinere Kratzer auf dem Uhrenglas, obwohl diese alle als "kratzfest" verkauft wurden. Deshalb habe ich bei dieser Uhr zur Saphir-Glas-Variante gegriffen. Bisher konnte ich auch glücklicherweise noch keine Kratzer feststellen. Ich hoffe, dass diese Uhr insofern auch zukünftig hält, was sie verspricht.Technisch ist die Uhr wirklich genial. Vorab: Man verzichtet auf jegliches Ziffernblatt im Stunden-Modus, Wochentagsanzeige oder Monatsanzeige. Als Chronograph ist die Uhr neben einer Datumsanzeige auf die Anzeige der einzelnen Kommastellen der Stoppfunktion optimiert. So findet sich ein Ziffernblatt für Zehntel- und Hundertstel- oberhalb und ein Ziffernblatt für Tausendstel-Stellen unterhalb des Hauptblatts. Auf der linken und rechten Seite finden sich Anzeigen für abgelaufene Minuten und Stunden. Hauptaugenmerk sollte allerdings das Hauptblatt mit der schleichenden Sekunde sein. Ähnlich wie bei Automatikuhren wird somit eine flüssige Zeigerbewegung des Sekundenzeigers simuliert, wobei einfach die Schrittzahl des Zeigers deutlich erhöht wird. Hier bei diesem Modell wird eine Sekunde in 16 Schritten vollzogen, was zu einer flüssigen Bewegung führt. Besonders beeindruckt war ich auch von der angebotenen Präzision der Uhr. Mit dem deutlich höher schwingenden Quarz wird eine unglaublich exakte Anzeige erreicht, laut Hersteller eine Abweichung von max. +/- 10sec p.a. Bisher hatte ich allerdings noch keine Gelegenheit, eine Abweichung von unterschiedlichen Quarzuhren in meinem Besitz festzustellen. Somit kommt die höhere Präzision eher bei der Stoppfunktion zum Tragen. In Zukunft zu beobachten ist auch die wahrscheinlich kürzere Batterielaufzeit. Durch die höhere Schrittzahl des Sekundenzeigers sinkt diese absehbar. Dazu habe ich aber noch keine Daten und kann erst zu späterem Zeitpunkt dazu eine Stellungnahme abgeben.Fazit: Trotz einiger Spielereien finde ich diese Uhr toll, zumal sie technisch so präzise ist. Ich vergebe deshalb volle 5 Sterne.

Despues de comprarlo investigue la marca y me da confianza saber Bulova pertenece a un grupo como Citizen. A mi parecer es un buen reloj, bonito, elegante, ...estoy satisfecho con mi compra.En cuanto al transporte (Correos Express) deja mucho que desear. Seria mas que prudente no enviarnos productos a traves de esta empresa, prefiero pagar un poco mas en el porte y que lo envien por MRW, SEUR, DHL, etc... hay muy buenas empresas de transportes serias con las fechas de entrega y la atencion al publico, ruego tomen nota del tema.Gracias.M.G.L.
