Review: Seller a dream - This is a high quality product - we bought 6 bowls, we already had four but wanted more. They are substantial in weight, and beautiful. One came with a minor scratch/crack. I communicated directly with the seller, indicating that there was no need to return all six, just to exchange the one. The response was immediate, the bowl replaced in a very timely manner, the process was without any difficulty or unease.
Review: Portmeirion make great dishes. I have two complete sets of 16 plus serving pieces - The bowls are great for cereal, side dishes, even small serving bowls... The product is excellent. I was disappointed in the delivery.... the bowls were shipped in a cardboard box more suitable for a department store rack rather than a shipping container. They were bubble wrapped in a sheet of wrap and put in a soft sided desertcart plastic shipping sleeve. One bowl was broken, I had bought a bowl at TJMaxx for less money and didn't bother with a return of a shattered bowl... great product, but the vendor needs to pay attention to the appropriate shipping of china...

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Are these pieces are all from England?**
A: Yes, all the pieces that I have acquired are made in England. I have never seen any pieces that were not made there.

**Q: I ordered 5" bowls (2.5" deep) that only hold about 8 oz. I want cereal bowls that will hold 12 oz., 6" across? Please advise.**
A: These only hold 8 oz.

**Q: Does it have lead in the glaze?**
A: This probably isn’t that helpful, but I’ve been using Portmeirion dinnerware and serveware for around 25 years, so I really hope we haven’t been ingesting lead this whole time. I’ve tried to do a little research and can’t easily find the answer. I know some of it is made in China now, not just England, so that could be a factor. I’ve had chronic health problems, also about 25 years. Probably just a coincidence, but now I think I should get tested. If I find a definitive answer, I will post it. Hopefully someone else has the answer. I’d hate to have to stop using all my beautiful dishes.

**Q: What is the height of this bowl?**
A: Two inches. The salad bowls are 2 1/2 inches FYI
