**Q: Can the top be swivelled so that the camera points straight down while the arm is upright so I can use it as a scanner stand?**
A: Yes, and the second to bottom photo shows that the Phone holder can rotate 360 in one axis and 90 degrees in the other.this allows it to point "straight down".

**Q: Will this hold camera canon eos m50 ?its lightweight dslr**
A: Not sure of the weight of your camera.  It won’t handle my Canon DSLR without falling over.  Best for camera phones.

**Q: Does a iPhone 12 Pro Max weigh too much?**
A: Probably not. The arm is reasonable sturdy.

**Q: Is there a way to connect your tablet maybe to get a different connector?**
A: I don’t of a way.  It IS adjustable for ANY sized cell phone, however.

Not bad for the price. Does the job. Not the sturdiest, but very much capable. PLEASE MEASURE THE TABLE, DESK, ETC. YOU'RE CLAMPING IT TO! I wanted it on my kitchen table but the mouth of the bracket wasn't wide enough for my table.
