Review: Excellent Quality - At first I ordered a size 4 (my usual Dr Marten size) but the bridge was so tight on one of my feet I could hardly put that boot on and very snug on the other (I suspect that one foot of mine is slightly larger than the other by a quarter or half size) . The leather is slightly softer than the 1460's but not to the point of being flimsy - still robust and as thick but just with a bit more give. I also bought a pair of 1460's at the same time in my usual size 4 and they fit perfectly so this is perhaps a good indicator of the sizing?? I have fairly wide feet but that isn't a problem with the 5's or was a problem with my one slightly smaller foot in the 4's. So I guess that if you have feet that are slightly larger than a size then go for the next size up due to the tight bridge!! They came in the original 'dr marten' box all folded neatly in the tissue paper and really well presented, and included the original yellow laces! Also they fit perfectly eventhough I've got narrow feet but still got my usual shoe size. I didn't need to wear ultra thick socks when wearing them and they don't rub too much. At the same time I bought the 'Wonder Balsam' which you should buy as well as it will come in handing keeping the boots fresh and comfy.
