But much darker gray-green than anticipated. - Beautiful cap, as are all Kangol Ventair caps (this is my seventh!). They are by far my favorite chapeaus. But know that the color is far more medium-gray than green. In low light you really can't see the greenish hue at all, but it does show better in daylight or other bright light. It matches my favorite LL Bean jacket very well, but others looking for a brighter or more pronounced green will be disappointed. As usual for all Kangol products, the fit and finish are perfect. They are all made to last a lifetime! The Ventair line are excellent in most climates except very cold. As the name suggests, they vent well when it's warm, but are dense enough to provide very good shading and reasonable warmth in cool weather. While not very useful as rain hats, the polyester blend fabric is not harmed by rain. ONLY hand wash with mild detergent and shape to air dry. They also hold up well to folding or rolling up to put in a pocket when necessary; they re-shape with ease. They are kinda pricey, but well worth it in the long-run.
