Review: Good clamps for holding fabric tightly without ripping it - I use these to hold my green screen tightly between the bars of my greens Green stand. They don't cut or rip the fabric thankfully. And I'm sure glad I got a lot of them because that's what it takes. However, the little flat tip parts pop off too easily but I didn't really need them anyway.

**Q: Have any clamps rusted or are they waterproof? Have you used them outside or exposed them to water?**
A: They are plastic, except the spring and center pivot bolt.   They are certainly waterproof, but I'd imagine over time the metal spring and bolt would eventually show some signs of rust..   I don't use them outdoors in water, so that's just me imagining what would happen over time if I did..   
I'm not sure you'll find any of these where the spring is made out of stainless steel, although if you wanted to replace the center bolt with a SS bolt or pin, you could certainly do that..

light-duty, used to hold felt in place while glue dried ; even though it said heavy duty i did not expect that they were -- they are plastic , a few of the orange grip tips fall off to easily -- but worked great for the application i had bought them for ( replacing felt rear heat seal on front load clothes drier.
