Review: I had a high end body shop for 20 years and this would have been handy. - I did get the Porta-Power kit a long time ago that had a farther reach hydraulic cylinder, but it was limited to 4 tons. This is the same setup with the exception being that it only has a short throw, and is a whopping 10-ton ram. The 10-ton ram we had on our frame straightening machine was expensive, so to get this kind of power out of a 10-ton unit is remarkable. When you have a need to get some real force when crammed into a tight space this unit will do what no other unit I have ever seen will do. So, with a 22,000 lb./10-ton capacity you want to place this on a solid surface, and avoid having your contact point for the extending piston be off center. In other words, forcing the cylinder to cock off angle is a major caution the manufacturer has posted. The applications for this device is very limited. Unless you're working the docks, I don't see the use for it. However, I'm not going to take stars away because I don't have a use for it. It is fully functioning and works well.
