This clock has a large, easy to read display that you can continuously dim to black, I love it. It doesnt auto-dim at night, and i dont care. The display shows thru the faux-walnut case which is pretty well made (contrary to at least one review). The wood grain is very realistic, with no visible seams and the triangular shape is very stable on a nightstand. There is an older-style USB A port on the back for phone charging. A very decent clock for $20

## Questions & Answers

**Q: The dimmer dial continues past 0% brightness for quite a ways. Is this normal? It seems 0% starts in the center of the dimmer wheel's range of motion.**
A: It's not a problem.  It's just the way they wrote the code. I set it for the brightness I want at night, then put a small piece of tape over the dial, otherwise I constantly change it every time I touch the clock.  I wish the clock did an auto dim.

**Q: Is it a 3 prong plug or does it have 2 progs ?**
A: 2 prongs. Assuming you mean non-grounded plug.

**Q: When the alarm setting is off, can you stop the display on front of clock from saying "OFF"?**
A: I went through the entire little manual and there is no way to turn off the "OFF" display.

**Q: does this have variable sounds what is the alarm like?**
A: Sorry I don't know about the alarm sound. I don't use the alarm. This is because the alarm on/off button is located on the back of the clock and is hard to find. Poor design for alarm use. The clock has a unique shape and 100% dimmable display. Those two features were good enough to keep the clock. For me, it's a unique clock but not an alarm clock.

Finally- a clock that dims down to zero. I dont want a clock in my bedroom that lights up the room. Many come with a few discrete settings, all of which are too bright. This clock has a large, easy to read display that you can continuously dim to black, I love it. It doesnt auto-dim at night, and i dont care. 6/06/2026 One thing that always annnoys me is when reviewers never show the actual size of a product. Photos and item descriptions can be misleading, so I measured mine: • Width: 6.2 inches • Height: 3 inches • Depth: 3.4 inches Pros: • Large, easy to read display • Shows time, date, day, temperature, and DST status • Excellent brightness adjustment from very dim to very bright • Dedicated alarm volume control • Compact footprint • Auto DST support • USB charging port • Clean wood-grain design Cons: • Temperature reading is only for the area around the clock (no way to turn it off) • Faux wood finish (nitpicking tbh hehe) • No major complaints so far • USB A charging port is not fast charging. (I bought the thing. It works. I like it. I'm struggling to find anything wrong with it so far) I bought this for my desk because I wanted something easy to read without taking up much space, and it fits perfectly under my monitor shelf. The display shows the time, date, day of the week, temperature, and DST status. Everything is large and easy to read from across the room. My favorite feature is the dimmer wheel. It offers very precise brightness control, from barely visible in a dark room to extremely bright during the day, with lots of adjustment in between. The alarm volume also has its own adjustment wheel. Other nice features include Auto DST, 12 or 24 hour clock mode, Fahrenheit/Celsius selection, USB charging port, and battery backup. Overall, a great looking clock that's compact, easy to read, and packed with useflu features. I will update this review if anything comes up.
