My hair is pretty thick and usually after I wrap a band around my hair for the second time, it snaps and exposes the elastic.These I have used these over and over and I haven't had one break yet. I have 2 packs of the black bands, and they are very durable.These may look like typical small bands, but they stretch a lot! They have the stretch of the large size bands that are much bulkier! They have no metal and the glued part that connects the elastic, is very secure and doesn't get weak when the band is stretched.They are lightweight and don't pull on my hair or ripping it out when I remove them.I'm very happy with these and recommend them to anyone, but especially people with thicker hair! These don't pull, they aren't easily broken, and they keep my hair up where I put it all day! these are a must.
