The wet look but dry?** A: My hair is more "lumpy" and it helps hold a tighter curl throughout the day. It can have a wet look, but if you scrunch it a little after your hair completely dries than it is just soft curls. **Q: does this give your hair a wet look?** A: Hello! We appreicate your interest in the Garnier Fructis Style Curl Scrunch Controlling Gel. Our styling gel for curly hair creates defined, volume-controlled curls. It is not intended to offer the "wet look" when hair is dry. We hope you try it soon. **Q: Can you use this on permed hair?** A: Hi Rosemary! Thanks for reaching out to us regarding Fructis Style Curl Scrunch Controlling Gel for Curly Hair. Yes this product can be used on permed hair. **Q: Is this good to do edges with or slick down ponytails for people with thick hair?** A: I have very thick, coarse curly hair. It keeps it under control but I wouldn't say in my case slicked down. I dont like "lacquered" look or feel DCo dont use enough to get to slick. Hair type matters here I suspect. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by H***V on 8 January 2026* My regular product was discontinued and have had a hard time finding something good to replace it and finally found it!!
