    Pretty tasteless popcorn sadly

I bought this machine as an experiment.The idea was to have three machines at a summer fete working to make popcorn.They were to be used by teenagers, with supervision, to provide other children with a tasty treat.I gave the machine two or three test runs.I read carefully the many reviews on line here and on other review sites, there were good and bad.I have to say, overall I was sadly rather disappointed.You can’t flavour the popcorn in the machineAdding it afterwards is uselessThe unfortunate result is tasteless popcornQuite a few uncooked kernels fly out before the cooked popcorn and you have to keep an eye on what remains and be careful not to burn the leftovers.Also, probably more importantly for my purposes, the machine gets very hot and so not really suitable even for a teenager to use, in my opinion anyway.For domestic purposes I think the traditional methods for cooking popcorn would be a better bet.

I had read negative reviews about popcorn machines, so was a bit apprehensive. As I have cut down on oil, sugar and salt this machine is definitely the best for me, I sprinkle herbs and spices once the popcorn is popped, and it tastes lovely.Others are right about the corn going everywell, but its not that much. I suggest using a bigger bowl or just cup the sides of the machine with your hands, better still don't leave the machine unattended!!Highly recommended.
