A: Idk the difference between the two sizes, but I've only ever ordered the 0-3mo and my 9 month old still uses it and always prefers this pacifier if that helps?

**Q: Is the nipple stiff and hard so that it is hard for baby to keep it in mouth?**
A: No, it's flexible medical grade silicone. The whole pacifier is made of the same material. It was much softer than some of the plastic-like other brands we tried.
