I asked my daughter, and she said it's 'best' when you gnaw it a bit, not bite. But however you eat it, thr flavor is sweet without being too sweet or heavy. And it has a whisper of sourness but mostly, it's just amazing light, lemony fruity goodness. It tastes like Bliss! Or happiness~

Now that's just my personal preference. I'm not going to knock simply because I personally didn't like it. My son tried it and liked it. He did say it was on the sweet side as well but he would only eat a few pieces at a time and be satisfied. Everything in moderation, so that's a win for me. I did like the texture, that is the one thing I did like.

**Q: Is freeze dried candy hard?**
A: The freeze dried candy is not hard, but it does have a crunch to it. I guess the freeze dry process actually plumps the candy up and when you bite down you get a crunch but it is a soft crunch, if that makes sense. It’s a great candy!

**Q: Are these vegan like actual lemon heads?**
A: I doubt these are vegan, as real lemon heads are not. They taste like lemon heads, and the "dust" in the bottom of the bag tastes like pure sugar. I love them though, but I actually like real lemon heads candy.

Greatest freeze dried candy on the market imo. I've been trying alot of different types of candies from different companies. And, alot of them like to give you a small bag of dust and crumbs for a ridiculous price. I almost had given up when I seen these. Whole candies, nice quality/quantity, at a reasonable price. This candy was a big part of childhood and I still love them at 53 yes old. This is my second bag and definitely not my last. Hard not to eat the whole bag. Look forward to my next bag already. Thanks for a great product and experience.
