This one is just OK.  I can't imagine spinning it too many more times.  The "Waiting For The Sun" cover is unique, and perhaps the best thing on the record, IMO.  The "Room A Thousand Years Wide" run-through sounds just like that:  a run-through.

Chris's voice has some road wear, but who cares when its such an excellent performance, the highlights being Waiting for the Sun (Doors cover) and the extended jam at the end of Somewhere.

El Soundcheck suele ser ese espacio previo entre que un grupo de músicos arriba a la sala, arena o estadio donde darán un concierto, se toman algunas cervezas, ensayan algunas canciones mientras reconocen el lugar y posteriormente, se retiran para volver horas después a tocar.También los soundchecks han sido momentos donde los músicos tocan más para si mismos que para la audiencia, llegando a tocar canciones diferentes a los set list armados para la gira o incluso covers de otros artistas; quedando algunos de estos ensayos convenientemente grabados y, como en este caso, puestos a la venta.Este EP en vinil es una excelente pieza de acompañamiento del primer disco en vivio oficial (hasta ahora de Soundgarden), el intenso Live on I-5, ya que contiene varias canciones que se interpretaron en los ensayos previos a los conciertos.Musicalmente hablando, el estilo de estos revividos Soundgarden se ha afinado con el paso de los años; alejándose sustancialmente de la etiqueta "Grunge" para explotar un estilo que inmediatamente es reconocible, no solo por la potente voz de Chris Cornell.Un muy buen disco que, en apariencia, solo esta disponible en vinil.
