It was so great, in fact, that I've kept checking back to see if it's back in stock, as it would be great for several devices I own - if I'd known how good it was going to be, I'd have bought 5 of them when I made the purchase. A year's use before an internal component came loose, for £10? An absolute bargain by anyone's standards, and I shall have to look elsewhere for something like this. It was already charged . I plugged in MP3 ,Wow !! I was pleasantly surprised for the price, it had great volume it drove my AKG K92 with enough volume and clarity for you go deaf, if you are not careful . The battery is great. It does have it down sides too, though, when you switch on the unit it makes a pop and volume control not channel balanced at lower volume ,you could only hear left side not both until you turn it up higher.
