**Q: How many tea bags does the box hold total, or how many will fit in each compartment?**
A: You can have the tea bags standing up (which I did because I put multiple types of tea in a single compartment) and you can only fit like 8-10 in each compartment (so 64-80 total). The compartments are sized perfectly for the standard size tea bag to sit horizontally and you can lay about 14-15  in each compartment (much more, at about 112-120). Hope that helps!

**Q: what are the inner dimensions of the squares? specifically the height?**
A: Height is 2.75"   2.75" x 3.25"

**Q: does the lid have a hinge so that it can stand upright when open?**
A: No, the one I just received does not have a hinge so the lid does not stay open. If you let go of the lid it either flips back or forward.

**Q: Are the dividers removable?**
A: Hi Aimes -- No, the dividers are not removable.
