If you tilt the seat back backwards it makes it even more uncomfortable because the contour of the seat back means that only the lower part of the seat back is in contact with your back when you are sitting upright. If you don't tilt the seat back backwards, I found my legs sticking out beyond the front edge of the seat, instead of being nicely balanced on the chair.My chair was returned because of a separate individual fault. Apart from that individual fault, the chair would have been fine, if the seat had been made with a mechanism for adjusting the backrest by sliding it backwards without having to tilt it.Alternatively, if you have short enough thighs, you might find it OK as it is. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good for price *by N***H on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 December 2020* We’re using this chair is a busy radio studio. It has a ‘bum’ on it from 6am - 11pm (typically 16 hours per day) and it’s holding up really well.I was pleasantly surprised by the quality, I’ve had some cheaper priced furniture from mail order companies before which were awful, but this is really not bad at all.Remember, this is a Draughtmans chair, so it’s very high, it’s intended for ‘work too’ height workstations.The colour is perhaps not quite what I was expecting, but that’s no body’s fault - it always looks different on a screen.So yea, after a fairly decent draft chair? I have looked everywhere and this is the cheapest ADJUSTABLE chair I found online. I have just received it, amazing product, feel very sturdy and very well constructed. The black is more of a speckled grey/black which I personally found very nice. You can fully adjust the chair, in height, in your back support, and swing as well. The pedestal is adjustable as well. The padding on the chair is lovely and feel strong. This is definetely a chair build to last. 1 week for delivery, so not the quickest but worth the wait!
