This Oleico High Oleic Safflower Oil has quickly become my go-to for daily cooking because it performs consistently without breaking down or smoking out the kitchen. Cooking Performance: The primary reason I chose this is for its high smoke point (typically around 450°F). I tested it with cast-iron seared steaks and crispy skin salmon; it provided a beautiful, even crust without any of the bitter, burnt aftertaste you sometimes get from olive oil at high temps. Flavor & Versatility: This oil is genuinely neutral. It doesn’t compete with the aromatics of my spices or the natural flavor of the protein. Because it stays liquid in the fridge, I’ve also used it to make homemade herb-infused vinaigrettes, and it creates a much smoother emulsion than standard vegetable oils. Health & Quality: I appreciate that this is Non-GMO Certified and high in monounsaturated fats.
