Designed by renowned industrial designer Richard Sapper, it features a large grating surface for cheese and a smaller integrated nutmeg grater, combining versatility with ergonomic elegance. Perfect for millennial professionals who value both function and design, it transforms everyday kitchen prep into a stylish, efficient ritual. ## Description Practical and elegant, the Todo grater delivers just the amount of cheese for a dish with a simple gesture. Not just for cheese: Todo's long stainless steel body also features a small grater for nutmeg, a detail that makes the product particularly complete and versatile. Ergonomic and functional, it is easily stored thanks to the practical hole in the wooden handle, but it can also be left on display on the kitchen worktop as an elegant ornament. Based on his personal experience at home, where he had the tedious task of grating cheese for everyone at the table, Richard Sapper designed Todo in 2004. Thanks to the long stroke offered by its body, it can produce the amount of cheese necessary for a dish in a single swipe, turning one of the most monotonous tasks of cooking into a game. A perfect balance between theatricality and new functionality. Richard Sapper (1932-2015) was a German designer based in Italy, known for his important contributions to the product design field. Sapper's design philosophy focused on creating functional, user-centered products that combined innovation, aesthetics and practicality. A multi-award winner and 11-time Compasso d'Oro winner, he designed several contemporary classics. His objects, exhibited in the most important international design museums, leave a lasting legacy in the world of industrial design. Its primarily to show off to your guests to grate parmesan cheese directly onto your meal like the best restaurants. Because the grater holes are only on one side the cone funnels the grated cheese where its needed on your plate and not all over the table (if you grate gently!). It does the job which normal graters do not. Yes it's expensive but that's what you pay for designer products and exclusiveness to impress your friends. I am an Architect and design freak and definitely like it. It should only get 4 stars because of the high price but this is the 'Porsche' of parmesan graters so 5 stars it is. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Piece of art *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 18 March 2021* It's so pretty!!! I didn't expect it to be functional to be honest, but it's extremely easy to use and washes well as well. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A good looker and functional *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 13 June 2014* This is a beautiful statement piece but also perfect to use. It sits on my butchers block and is admired every day. Not cheap but my little luxury. A girl has to treat herself sometimes!! ## Frequently Bought Together - Alessi "Todo" Giant Cheese And Nutmeg Grater in Steel And Wood, Silver - Alessi PSJS Juicy Salif Citrus Juicer, Aluminium, Mirror Polished - Alessi Sfrido Peeler, One size, Silver --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/51475665-rs08-todo-giant-cheese-and-nutmeg-grater-in-steel-wood](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/51475665-rs08-todo-giant-cheese-and-nutmeg-grater-in-steel-wood) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
