**Q: How protective is the case? Will it protect from cracks and dings?**
A: Yes, it does a great job of protecting the iPod.  I would still highly recommend getting Ghost Armor for the screen.  I have Ghost Armor on the body and the screen and it still fits perfectly into the battery case.  I dont remember if the case came with a screen protector.

**Q: Does it fit on the iPod 6th generation**
A: It should work as the 6th-generation iPod touch has identical dimensions to the 5th-gen Touch. From the specs the only differences are internal. Hope this helps. As for the person who warns about buying this item, this is purely a battery pack that the Ipod sits in. It has nothing to do with the inner workings of an Ipod.

**Q: Is this compatible with the new ipod 6th generation.**
A: I have the ipod 5th generation and fits in fine.

**Q: Is the product compatible with iOS 8?**
A: This product works with the iPod touch 5th gen. If your iPod runs iOS 8, and is a 5th gen ipod, this case should work for you.

Superb and adds at least 4 hours to the battery life. I use this professionally connected to a DJI Osmo. Adds life and reliability to an otherwise low powered Apple iPod. Works with the latest 2018 iOS.
