The ceramic blade means it’s sharp and does the job but with out being dangerous and will not easily cut skin but breaks through tape wonderfully, it’s a cute little knife and easy to use and extend and retract the blade as needed. The cutter has a hole which I threaded elastic through, attached to a belt loop keeps it close at hand.
