Review: good - good quality metal amazing for knife making Review: Pretty sure it isn't 1095. - This steel sparks, hardens and acid etches just like 1560 & I've forged with both types. Nothing like the 1095 I got from the UK last time I purchased some, and is more a lighter grey when etched.
