My chandelier sparkles Review: Great product - This is such an amazing alternative to having to get out a ladder and soapy water or take chandeliers down/apart and risk breaking them. It takes seconds and you just need to make sure there's a towel or newspaper underneath to catch drips - the instructions say to be liberal as the dirt is carried away by the product dripping off the chandelier. My chandeliers were dry again within about half an hour and noticeably sparkly. I was worried about it getting on the ceiling, but no problem there. I've given four stars because it stinks of pungent fumes and really hangs in the air, so you need windows open to clear it, but this seems like a small price to pay. Very happy with the results. Just sprayed on and left to drip with a towel under ceiling lamps. Just using a soft cloth finished the job. **Q: Do i take light bulbs out and if so do i cover the holes ????** A: I did take the bulbs out and the cardboard tubes off. I didn't bother to cover the sockets as I didn't spray direct in to them. A lot of the time I sprayed on to my cloth and then wiped the cloth along the string of beads. This also meant I didn't have to move all the furniture out of spray range. It's a horrible fiddle of a job, thank goodness it's not necessary very often! The result is worth every aching arm - mine look amazing! **Q: will it work on plastic imitation chandelier** A: The Attention Notice on the Product says :-May adversely affect acrylics, polycarbonates, or coatings.
