A: No the pipe does not have any electrical connection. It relies on the suction from the caravan pump.

**Q: Would this work the same way as the whale water flow from the aqua roll**
A: It's not a water pump it's a filter for caravans with an on board water pump fitted.

**Q: Can you buy replacement filters for this?**
A: not sure but don't think so

**Q: Can this be used with a water carrier to get water in through the inlet hose when a tap isn't located nearby?**
A: Yes it can be used with a water carrier. We use it both ways.
