You won't feel it through your chest like at a festival, but the bass does travel through my floorboards, and you can hear it from downstairs, so bear that in mind. Speakers are taking any sound source, from computer, mp3 player or wherever and paly it out. They dont interact with operating system. Odd question I can say **Q: Can this be wall mounted please?** A: from what u get in the original box, no it cannot be wall mounted. plus there is no "hole" in the speakers waiting for sth to be attached **Q: Does the subwoofer provide a warm sound?** A: I have used these speakers for some time and I am very happy with the sound quality.
