**Q: Are these good at making a face mold**
A: I made a silent hill nurse mask, so yes they are good.

**Q: Advisement needed for self-mask: how much layer to set enough for continuing work off face, how much vaseline needed, prepaint treatment?**
A: It takes about six rolls to cast a lower arm. But then plaster needs to have a mold support to cast a duplicate and if that is done on the subject, then that is where heat becomes a problem. My first experience with casting body parts was to build a box to cast my own foot. Even tho I sectioned off the sole of the foot, the toes and instep, and then inside and outside of ankle, I had to pull my foot out and that ruined the casting. I probably should have explained this in my reply, but I had just returned home yesterday, the eighth, and I saw that your post was on the second of September. I kind of went into panic mode, hoping to catch you before doing a pour on a face. If I remember correctly, look up "Tap Plastic, casting body parts," on YouTube for expert demonstrations and products. If you have any more questions, I would be honored to assist in what my "experiments" and experience have taught me over the years. I'm not a Know-It-All, but I have sure known many fails as well as many successes. Be safe and do your research. Have fun. And stay safe.

**Q: Could this be used as a top layer ontop of alginate to strengthen it? I am looking to make a mold of breasts, but i need a sturdy top layer.**
A: It can be used for most basic craft needs. if you want to use it to make a hard layer for a softer type of mold to hold it's shape, that should work. You'll want to give it a few layers for sturdiness.
