It was faulty, buzzing sound and smoking when plugged in and also pieces missing ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A nightmare to install - but a dream when working *by A***R on 1 February 2026* Been having loads of issues getting these to work on my Hornby Flying Scotsman. There isn’t enough tech support out there at the moment and Hornby technical support isn’t ideal for weekend contact as their hours are very limited. However after some playing around, I discovered that one of the pins needed bending slightly to actually make contact and power properly which may suggest a poor design.
