Review: Lovely increased security lock at a reasonable price - Replaced my pvc door lock with this, works a treat and has a bonus feature, which is why I bought it. I got the thumb turn version of this lock, which no means I can now unlock the door even if it’s locked from the inside, previously, if the old door was locked from the inside and the key was still in the lock on the inside, I was locked out, or anyone else for that matter, which is fine, unless it’s an emergency, when you actually need someone to get in the house, if you can’t get to the door. Five keys is also a big plus, enough to give 2 to trusted friends or relatives and still have a spare, being dimple lock type keys, they are going to be awkward to spares cut. My only very minor gripe is the key goes in horizontally not vertically, which is actually easier, it just makes my head hurt after so many years of putting keys in vertically. TLDR: Good secure lock, easy to fit, great design with the thumb turn, 5 keys, good price, get one.
