It was rather cool out at about 40 degrees when we did it, which, I know if we had used regular glass cleaner would have been almost impossible to get most streaks out. I tried two different ways of using this product and one way works better than the other. That way is to make sure to use two towels....a wet and a dry. Use one towel to apply and work in the product, and another to get any remaining residue off, kind of like buffing the glass with the second, drying towel. When we did it that way, no streaks at all (even though it was used in cool weather). When we used only a "wet" towel and rubbed on the glass until the product was gone, we initially thought we had no streaking either, but I did find just a few when the sun hit the window the right way. I should also mention that the inside windows were very dirty with that film that builds up on the inside....dirty enough that I know from past experience I would have had to have cleaned them 3 times using regular glass cleaner to get close to the same results. I used this stuff once, and it did a better job than the other glass cleaner. We also used this to clean some glass panels in our garage door, also in cool conditions, and it did a phenomenal job with those, which were filthy inside and out. Constant streaking plagued the product, the only good thing was the smell while using it. In comes Glass RX by Shine Society. In less than 2 minutes (spray on generously, wipe in and buff off using a two towel method) this product made my glass seem to disappear. 100% streak-less. My windshield and rear window have NEVER looked better. I will never use or recommend another glass cleaner other than this one again. This is a product that belongs in stores and EVERYONE should have it. I still rate it as the best window cleaner I have purchased, but I am staying with the 4 stars because I still need a fair amount of elbow grease to clean the inside of my front and rear car windows and, even then, the windows may not be fully clean. (Yes, I do follow the directions for the two-step wash and dry process.) Because I wash my car every couple of weeks (sometimes weekly) during the warm weather and I do not smoke, I had been hoping for a better result. However, their customer service remains top notch (I had a leaking container) and I have recommended this product to family and friends. I have used this product just once on my car windows. It did a satisfactory job, but I gave it four stars for two reasons: 1. The weather in my climate is not conducive to window washing at this time of year. This product cleaned my home windows at least as well as other products I have used, so the potential is here for really clean car windows in the spring. It did a good job on the inside of my kitchen window. 2. That would have yielded three stars, but I gave the fourth star for customer service.
