A: No, it's fixed.

**Q: Can the brightness of this lamp be used for reading?**
A: Due to the use of low voltage bulbs, the brightness is different from ordinary incandescent lamps. We recommend that you use them as night lamps or atmosphere lamps.

**Q: Is the light bulb replaceable? How to replace it?**
A: The light bulb is not replaceable.

**Q: Why is the pattern on the lamp glass I purchased different from the picture?**
A: Each piece is handmade in white solid glass, requires great manual dexterity. That determines each of them has slightly differences due to this feature.

Adorable lamp, really nicely made. My only complaint is that that batteries hardly last more than a week if you have this on the timer function. They quickly drain the the light becomes extremely dim.
