However, take care on size. They are available in sizes that are not very different, such as 25 mm ( 1 " ) and 30 mm (1 1/4 " ). These are the internal diameters, so you need to measure the commode feet carefully. Too small and you won't get them on, too large and they will fall off. A snug fit is required. A bit of saliva smeared on the feet will ease pushing them on. I bought these to put on the feet of an indoor/outdoor, metal, folding decorating ladder. These ferrules are ideal as they have a metal washer inside that stops the metal ends of the ladder legs from cutting through the bottom.
