It has lasted. I have used it off and on since I purchased it in 2023. Lost it and found it again several times over. It gets around my home and then when I find it, like today, I use it and I'm so thankful for it once again. I'm not easy on heating pads and I have had several that I have no idea where they are because they were bulky or hard to use. This one sits on shoulders and warms my neck immediately. No pain today but the weather is cold and so am I. Bumping up my rating from 2 stars to 4 because of longevity despite not taking care of it and because it always just works. Bought direct from Amazon, like I always do, and once again I was not disappointed with my purchase. 08/16/23: I wish I had listened to the reviewers who talked about this heating pad being uncomfortable to use. It's a torture heating pad. I have the previous gen and it's snuggly and comfortable to use on your shoulders or any other part you want to put heat to because it's not so structured and rigid as this one. It also doesn't heat evenly and all the way to the edges like mine. I wanted one for my living room and one for my bedroom. But this one will not be the one for my living room.
