I expected that to more like a flat structure that popped out that was coloured on both sides. To my surprise the cake actually looks like a proper round cake and just that feature is a wonder on it's own. It's a really good quality card which is well made, and it has to be to pull this all off. The card is very colourful, with different flashing light effects. What's really cool is that they have a LED lit candle with a sensor on the cake. When you blow on it, the candle senses that, and turns the candle light off and starts playing the Happy Birthday Song - a really clever design. The surprises don't end there though, there's also a little card within the card that has a pulldown tab on it. When you pull that down and let go, the small card shoots out really colourful confetti. I got this for my granddaughter and she absolutely loved it. When she pulled the tab on the smaller card that caught her off guard and made her jump. Everyone's actions and reactions have been caught on camera forever. For me, that's exactly what this card is for, putting a smile on a young child's face. For what is essentially just a Birthday card the price may also surprise you, but trust me, for the fun my granddaughter had with this it was worth every penny. She was actually playing with this for ages before she even opened her present. Definitely money well spent and I would recommend it without any hesitation. There was evidence in the package that they knew this was the case before sending it out!!!🤨 I would not trust these sellers. **Q: Is there already confetti in it. If not how do you load it?** A: There is a smaller card within the main card and it is this small card that has the confetti in it. So to answer your question, yes the confetti is already in it and you don't need to anything to load it as such. In order for the confetti to pop out you just pull the small tab at the bottom edge of the card. Once it's out there is no reloading it unfortunately. **Q: Are greeting card surprises one-offs? How's the effect?** A: I didn't purchase this particular card. The one I bought lit up, played Happy Birthday, and blow out candle. The card was a hit with the person I got it for. **Q: how is the quality** A: I like it! Facts have proved that it is trustworthy, the three-dimensional cake has 360° no dead angle, bright colors and clear sound. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A very different card than the usual boring Happy Birthday cards & my little granddaughter loved it *by P***A on 14 March 2023* What really impressed me is that when you open the card, it is a Birthday Cake that pops out. A very bright and cheerful design, lights and music from the point of opening, a candle to blow out and blast of confetti to finish off!! A spare bag of confetti is also included if you missed it the first time!!!! Or you want to do it all over again!!!!
