Nothing different from your regular of stereo-upgrade process. It turns on quickly too which is nice. Lots of colors to choose from. The fit was perfect, paired with a 2010 civic dash kit also found here on amazon. I haven’t tried the remote control app because it seems quite outdated There’s not much information about this unit online. Theres an option to perform a firmware update but I couldn’t find an update file online anywhere i looked. I didn’t realize how cheap the plastic would feel on the unit. It’s also a finger-print magnet so i started carrying a cloth in my glove box. When the sun is at its brightest, you’ll have a hard time reading the screen. Louder than my oem stereo but maybe not in a good way.
