As an activated rosin, any residue must be removed. For a great no-clean flux we would suggest Kester 959T. **Q: Suggestions on how to clean excess flux from components and board?** A: We agree with others- Isopropyl alcohol works well, that's the base solvent in this flux. And please note- its VERY IMPORTANT to remove the residue, since this is an activated flux. If not there may be corrosion issues.
